We are delighted to inform Mankessim students that there are 5 scholarships available for award to applicants on an extremely competitive basis and whose parents are in the low income group.

Students must be pursuing their studies at Ghana Universities and colleges. The selection of candidates is extremely competitive and aspiring candidates will have to demonstrate excellent academic credentials, leadership skills, and extracurricular activities among the many other selection criteria.
A list of shortlisted candidates will be sent to the respective sponsors who will make the final selection

The scholarship is only open to students who are Ghanaians residing in Ghana and have completed their schooling at Ghana Secondary Schools and their parents are in the low-income group.

AKCLF 2014/15 Scholarships Awards
We started with 11 scholarships, 5 graduated from
University and are working, 3 graduated from Polytechnic and two are working, 1
graduated from Teachers Training College and is teaching, 1 dropped out due to
lack of practicum in a boat as a Marine Technician and the last student is in
her final year, she combined Charted Accounting
with BSC Accounting.
Through a very competitive selection process, this year we have awarded 5 scholarships at $200 per student for four years, $200*5*4=$4,000 total.
We are extremely thankful to the following Mankessim Community Leaders, The Pastor, Ebenezer Methodist Church; Pastor, ST. Paul Catholic Church; Imam, Muslim Community; Pastor Presbyterian Church and the Pastor, Church of Pentecost for assisting the Foundation in awarding 2014 scholarships to the following students.
The Church of Pentecost Community Award to Jane Aikins, Nursing student at Cape Coast, Nursing And Midwifery Training College.
The Presbyterian Church Community Award to Jenifer Ansah, a 2nd year Nursing student at Twifo Praso Nursing and Midwifery training College.
Ebenezer Methodist Church Community Award to Daniella Ackon Mensah, a 2nd year student, pursuing Bsc. Mathematics at the University of Cape Coast.
ST. Paul's Catholic Church Community Award to Seth Micah King, Bsc. Computer Engineering student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.
The Muslim Community Award to Gibrine Adams, Marketing student at the University of Professional Studies, Legon, Accra.
All these scholarships would be paid yearly direct to the students in the second semester starting January 2015 and at start of academic year in the following years.
Additionally the Foundation is pleased to support Agnes Banson's last year tuition payment of her scholarship for Chartered Accounting and BSC. Accounting studies at University of Professional Studies Accra.
